digital & Printed sewing patterns​
Due to the nature of downloadable digital products, I have no way to truly accept a "return" of the sewing patterns. However, if you have ANY questions or frustrations at all about one of my patterns, please email me at Leah@CharlieDarwinTextiles.com and I will work through it with you as soon as I can (usually within 1-2 business days).

Sewing kits
Sewing kits can be returned in their original, unused/unwashed condition (with all notions and pattern still intact) for a partial refund or partial store credit (customer's choice), equaling the value of the physical kit contents (minus the value of the digital downloads - which is $35 - and shipping (varies)). Buyer pays for return shipping. Kit return requests are accepted within 30 days after the package was delivered to you. Email me at Leah@CharlieDarwinTextiles to start your return process and get my current mailing address.

How do I do it?
​
One of the common reasons for returning items ordered online is that they are the wrong size. All Charlie Darwin garments are "made-to-measure". This means that they are cut and sewn to fit the specific measurements of your body, including height. I ask for any relevant body measurements I may need at checkout, such as your bust, waist, and hip measurements. Guidelines for how to take these measurements can be found here. Don't be scared, all you need is a piece of string and a ruler!

CLOTHING - RETURN POLICY
In the unlikely event that you have concerns regarding the fit or garment defects:
I am usually open to light tailoring of Charlie Darwin garments for free (you pay shipping). Email me with your request at Leah@CharlieDarwinTextiles.com
I will accept returns on clothing if the item does not fit you, as long as a detailed request to return is sent via email to Leah@CharlieDarwinTextiles within 14 days of receipt of the item. Tell me if you would like the return to be processed as a refund or store credit.

Once I've responded to your email, you will need to return the item to me unworn, unwashed, and in 100% resellable condition.

You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping and will be required to arrange your own shipping.

Once returns are received and accepted, they will be processed as a refund or store credit for a future purchase (whatever you have elected in your initial email). I will notify you once this has been completed via email. I will refund the value of the goods returned, but will not refund the value of any shipping paid.

Returns Due to Garment Defects​
If, after consulting with you, we determine there is a garment defect, you will be asked to ship the item back and you can choose to be refunded for the entire purchase or sent a replacement item. We will cover the cost of shipping, both ways.
