The GYPSY MOTH dress is a delicate blend of dance and poise. She is made from 100% linen, is washed twice for utmost softness, and the adjustable ties at the shoulders and underarm ensure the perfect gypsy-like fit.

All of our clothing is sewn to your custom measurements. Please consult our sizing guidelines. We will ask at checkout for any relevant measurements we may need.

Naturally dyed:
Your piece will be naturally dyed by hand in any of our current offerings that you choose (see 2nd photo). I use pigments from plants to achieve rich earth tones. This dress is made from the earth and after a lifetime of wear and tear, it will be 100% biodegradable.
**Please note: The dress photo'd in blue was dyed with a color that is no longer offered. The new indigo blue will be a slightly brighter and bolder blue, as captured in the current color swatch photo.
The Fabric: 100% washed linen, medium-heavy weight.
We love linen because of its strength and durability. Linen is considered to be the strongest of all-natural fibers, and gets stronger and softer with washes! We also love it for its low environmental impact, breathability, comfort, and versatility. We thrive on the natural wrinkles in the fabric... it's a lifestyle.
The fabric is very opaque (not see-through), so we find the dress to be perfectly breezy and freeing to wear with or without a bra.
The Sewing:
This piece is sustainably constructed in our studio using zero-waste sewing. All inner and edge seams are finished, meaning they are prepared to outlive the most active lifestyles.
We believe the garments you love should outlive you. So, we include a complimentary mending kit with every order, which contains matching scrap fabric, matching thread, a sewing needle, and a guide to visible mending. Repair is noble!
When to wear:
This dress is the perfect weight for summer days and warmer days in the spring and fall. The linen is medium-weight, giving it body but staying so lightweight and breathable. Made for all bodies and all types of humans.

Naturally dyed clothing will gradually fade over time, which is part of its charm. Please machine wash cold & delicate with like colors, and then hang dry, or tumble dry on a delicate setting until 90% dry. For long-lasting color, wash with a neutral pH detergent and avoid high heat or drying in direct sunlight.
