I am using my vermicompost bin for this experiment. The composted materials are buried on the bottom side, and the linen pieces on the top, with shredded paper throughout.

The burial site is my little “fairy glen” on a gently sloping hillside above our goat pen and chicken coop. It is shady and the ground is slightly damp but not in an area where flooding is possible. The weather is warm but cloudy and sprinkling rain. I chose this area because it is secluded, shady, and one of my favorite spots on our property.
