Not sure how much these will decompose, as the soil here in Denver has a lot of clay. I located the burial site near my compost bin, so hopefully that will help!

Burial site is a raised bed containing lavender and rhubarb and one tiny little 6" Elderberry, ummm, sprout!

Our kit arrived yesterday and my grand niece and her dad buried the linen pieces in our compost pile today.

This site had been a pile of wood chips a few years ago. There are lots of worms, slugs, etc. Unfortunately, the deer like to eat my vegetables (so hopefully they won’t step on my fabric but it is part of nature). I covered the ground with straw to help retain moisture since it gets very hot down here.

Just rained, but has been dry for weeks. No visible worms or earth creatures.

The ground was still a little cold when doing this dig (may 1st in PA). The fabric is still all in one piece, but does feel noticeably thinner and has some discoloration.
