Hi,
I have sensitive skin. While linen is natural, some forms of it feel scratchy. Not to fear, they can be softened and they are at some point.
My mom used linens. I like great linens.
I haven't always had this sensitivity. It crept up on me like and with age.
I am in love with this whole new school and age of natural fibers. It is great.
To cite an experience:
I've been interested in linen for a long time but hadn't taken the plunge until a wore a black long sleeved t-shirt type polyester material outside and was in the hot sun. I'd washed this shirt many times, so it should have been cleared of any of the new t-shirt toxic chemicals.
What happened was that anywhere the sunlight heated the shirt I became very hot and bothered. Overwhelmingly so. It didn't take long for me to go inside and tear the shirt off only to find red welts all over my skin. That was the impetus I needed to begin converting my entire wardrobe away from the plastic clothes to natural fibers and wools/alpaca. Linen is my shining star!

I have a dress in my closet for many years and I have never worn it because the transparency.
It's a white 100 % linen wrap dress. I don't want to recoloring it because I like the color.
Do you have experience with underdresses? Or a other solution?

I have a FLAX bias cut slip dress with bias tape finishing and spaghetti straps that I use for that purpose. It's lightweight and not bulky. You could choose a light color or darker for contrast. It might not be the right solution for you but it's an idea, especially if you're not fond of a synthetic slip.
